Government guidance suggests that all visits to leisure and golf facilities should be on a pre-booked basis and we are adhering strictly to this guidance. So – the first message is to ask you please not to simply turn up and expect to gain access to the facilities as you will be politely declined. This is part of our COVID Secure certification and we will make no exceptions.

At all our facilities, customers are required to wear a face mask/covering at all times unless participating in a fitness activity or seated to eat/drink.

Customers are able to make a total of 5 bookings in any 24 hour period but only three on any given day. If you do wish to book back to back classes or a gym session followed by a class you are likely to have to leave the building and queue for the next activity.

Swimming Adult Lane Swimming, Family Swimming sessions and Aqua Aerobics are bookable in 45 minute slots with a 15 minute break in between sessions for cleaning. Please note: 45 minute Family Swimming sessions are available for 2 adults and up to 4 children from the same family or household and need to be pre-booked. Please note the Child Admission Policy remains in force. We are now selling Swim & Spa Memberships for those looking for unlimited swimming sessions.

The Gyms are bookable in one hour slots with a 15 minute break for cleaning and a longer break in the middle of the day for a more thorough ‘deep’ clean. These are available to Annual and Direct Debit members and Priority Card holders only. We are now selling Health & Fitness and GYM21 Memberships for those looking for unlimited access to our facilities.

A revised Exercise Class Programme sees around 70% of our normal programme, including Aqua classes but with revised timings in many instances to help avoid gym and swim session queues. There is a minimum of 15 minutes between classes for cleaning. Classes are available for all customers to pre-book. Health & Fitness Members also get access to our Live Streaming Exercise Class Programme.

Booking Exercise Classes Our online booking system features a waiting list for exercise classes; a booking confirmation email will be received when booking on to a waiting list, but will show as unconfirmed. If you need to cancel your class after booking online, please call the Centre directly. Unpaid bookings will be deleted automatically after 20 minutes. Customers will be refunded in full if a booking is cancelled at the Centre with more than 24 hours' notice. Refunds will be arranged by Reception, either by telephone or in person.

All Gym & Spa Members and Priority Card Holders can reserve and book online or via the Download%20App' target='_blank'>tmactive app - it's so simple! In exchange for your date of birth, email address, name, mobile number and ID number, you'll be provided with a password so you can book online, anytime! Casual users can get hold of their password by emailing their date of birth, email address, name and mobile number to memberships@tmactive.co.uk.

Badminton & Table Tennis

Customers can now pre-book and pay for badminton and table tennis sessions at the Angel Centre. Sessions last for 1 hour. Badminton sessions can be either singles or doubles - no more than 6 people per court (4 playing at any one time). Table Tennis sessions are singles only play. Customers must provide their own rackets/ bats, shuttles and balls.

Book at Tee Time at Poult Wood

Because of the current Pandemic, the rules of play have changed, please take a look at the current rules of play before booking.

One player can book a 2, 3 or a 4 ball tee time. We will only charge the person making the booking, all other players will need to register and pay on arrival. We are currently only taking card payments.

Angel Broking Login

Course Members & registered users with a tmactive card can book their tee time online or by using the tmactive App. Once you have downloaded the App, please select Poult Wood as your preferred site. You will require a password to book using these systems.

Non-registered player, can access online bookings by arranging a password.

To get a password please email memberships@tmactive.co.uk and include your email address, name, address, mobile number and date of birth. Please be aware that we will respond to your request during office hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Anyone wishing to play squash needs to book online. To book online you need a password. Your booking will activate the lights in the court. If you have your password already book via the tmactive websiteor tmactive App.

If you need a password please email your name, address, mobile number and date of birth to memberships@tmactive.co.uk. Once you have logged in to our booking system, select Poult Wood as your preferred site, this will then remain the same every time you log in. To book a squash court, either select 'make a booking' or select the activity from the list on the page – squash will be below the golfing activities.
